I’ve been working on commercial and residential automation projects for over twenty-five years. During that time I’ve gained a vast in-depth knowledge of what works and what doesn’t work mainly when it comes to motorised curtain tracks.

For a long time, motorisation was a mystery to many and was only installed by high-end commercial contractors using high-end products from companies such as Silent Gliss®.

Now while there is still a significant demand for motorised products at the top end of the commercial sectors, there is a groundswell of smaller commercial contractors and homeowners looking to automate their offices and homes.

It occurred to me, however, that there was little support for those smaller contractors and homeowners who wanted to install their own home automation or indeed automated curtains. So, I set up WindowBoss to address that challenge.

Here at WindowBoss we are wholly committed to helping and supporting those keen to install motorised curtain tracks but don’t want to engage the services of high-end contractors to do the job. The funny thing is that a few years back, motorisation of curtain tracks was so expensive both in terms of product and installation costs that most were put off.

All that had changed and our Smart Curtain tracks are genuinely plug and play. We’ve gone out and sourced the best motors (we get ours from the same factory the top end companies do!). We get our track profiles milled here in the UK we are still able to offer you a very competitively priced automated track which will come to you fully assembled and ready to go. You see, we’re an internet based company with none of the overheads the big companies have.

And yes, it will arrive fully assembled even if you need a six-metre track. Not many other motorised track suppliers can say that. That’s how easy it is, and that’s what we set out to do. Make it easy for you to motorise your curtains.
