Quick Setup
Setting up the motor is very simple, and you will be up and running in minutes. The official set up guide is here for download.
To get started we made the video here for the most basic set up – pairing the remote to the motor. In the motor box, there is a metal pin you can use to push the program button, or use a paper clip as in the video.
When the motor and remote are working together, you might find that there some more settings that need to be made.
Changing Direction
Press and Hold the STOP button for 5 seconds, then the light on the motor will flash RED. Release the STOP button and press it again within 10 seconds. This time the motor light will flash rapidly in Blue, and the remote buttons will work in reverse.
Add a Remote
Using the original remote, press and Hold the STOP button for 5 seconds, then the light on the motor will flash RED. Release the STOP button. Now press the UP button on the new remote within 10 seconds. This time the motor light will flash rapidly in Blue, and the new remote will be added. This is the same procedure for adding a wall switch plate.
Delete a remote
Using the remote you wish to delete, press and Hold the STOP button for 5 seconds, then the light on the motor will flash RED. Release the STOP button and press the DOWN button within 10 seconds. This time the motor light will flash rapidly in Blue, and the remote will no longer be paired.
Motor Reset
Sometimes it may be necessary to reset all settings of the motor, including the limit positions. To do this, press and Hold the STOP button for 5 seconds, then the light on the motor will flash RED. Release the STOP button and using a paper clip, press the hidden button on the rear of the remote within 10 seconds and HOLD it on for 7 secondss. This time the motor light will flash Blue, and all settings will have been deleted.
